The stunning Musky Innovations Swimming' Dawg feature a flexible internal harness in a solid super soft body providing unmatched suppleness and a great rolling action and tail movements on the drop. When barramundi are feeding on large mullet high in the water column or on shallow flats, this is the perfect representation. Hand made and painted in Wisconsin USA, these are a hard to come by premium bait.
The shallow variations are a rounder profiled bait, with the regular version a thinner profile providing more shimmy than roll. Both versions get chewed by the barra so are worth having both in the box.

Chaos 8" Posseidon

Handmade in the US for giant musky, this 8 inch soft swimbait has a solid internal harness and super sharp 2/0 trebles. Due to its large boot tail construction this plastic produces a powerful tail thump that generated great movement through the body of the lure, prefect for producing a good vibration signature in dirty water or for calling in super sized Barra from a distance away.
Super sharp and surprisingly strong standard trebles (good up to 115cm barra during product testing. I recommend upgraded to a 2/0-3/0 4X treble for any higher drag situations in snaggy country.

Illex Dexter Shad - 250 & 200

The Illex Dexter Shad was designed for the pike market in Europe but has quite a cult following from big barra hunters in Australia from those anglers in the know. The swimbait has quite a unique action which has proven irresistible to big Barras and and has put countless meter plus fish on the decks of our boats through the years.

200 (175mm)
250 size matches well with a quality 10/0 jig head, with the 200 size more suited to a 9/0 such as those by ProLates which won't let you down.
A benefit of the design is it will generally float if torn off during a fight which allows for repair and multiple fish on most occasions.
