An Atherton Tablelands childhood kicked my off my passion for fishing targeting Sooty Grunter in many rivers and creeks in the region. My barramundi addiction took hold not long after experiencing their magic during remote hikes into the Herbert River Gorge and during my time in the weirs of Townsville NQ. The addiction led to an interest in tournament barramundi comps archiving success across the country ofter the last 10 years.
Having to face many talented anglers during tournaments, an interest grew in finding and tinkering with unique tackle to provide a competitive edge over our competitors. As a result, an appreciation of custom, unique designs and tackle that is not commonly offered in the Australian market grew, driving this company's formation.
